The whole abbey consists of a church, a convent building, an abbatial lodging house and gardens. The Romanesque church houses the largest known set of murals . The Church includes a steeple-porch (ground floor and gallery) a nave and a bedside, a ambulatory and five radiating chapels. Under the choir , there're two crypts: one entirely painted dedicated to Saint-Savin and Saint-Cyprien and the other to Saint-Marin. The octagonal arrow of 78m high is above the forecourt. The convent building of the 17th century is built in a Benedictine monaSaint-res style. It includes the great refectory, the capitulary hall and the grand stone staircase which leads to the cells of the monks that are equiped by a scénographic show . The Access to the terraced garden is by the entrance of the monument. Not to be missed ...
